At K-LAGAN we are hiring a MECHANICAL LEADER, responsable for reporting to Global Mechanical Engineering Manager, his responsibility is develop and supervise the execution of the mechanical designs in order to obtain quality, cost and deliver on time. The company is located in Barcelona and focused on the design and manufacture of Test Equipment and Assembly Lines for the leading automotive Tier 1 and other industrial sectors. Your main responsability will be to develop robust designs on time & budget - Coordinate the activity of different engineers assigned to the his project, including subsidiaries and outsourced team, defining and support on technical tasks supervising the execution taking into account quality, cost and delivery time of the design phases. - Lead technical scope of the concept design, working close to the Project - Collaborate close of the Team leaders of the other departments in order to align objectives of the project. - Ensure the properly selections of the mechanical purchasing in order to obtain the best quality, cost & delivery time to start up the assembly phase. - Develop concept designs and assembly drawings, delegating if is possible the development of drawings and details to engineers. - Consider the standardized and robust designs of the company and use it on new designs and concepts. - Realize Service assistance on machines if is necessary his collaboration. - Maintain contact with the customer taking into account technical point of view in order to clarify technical requirements. - In some cases could collaborate on quotation process, o could be assigned to quotation department as a Quotation engineer - Ensure the follow up of safety standards, environment standards and 5s on his area
