In this challenging position, you will manager a multidisciplinary team of (lead) engineers. Moreover, you will be the point of contact for third parties involved in the project, including suppliers and the client. You will ensure that all requirements and conditions are met for the production of a Mega Yacht, including classification societies rules. Your daily tasks include: • Responsible for the engineering of the super yacht, including budget, planning and quality. • Lead a group of 20+ multidisciplinary engineers. • Check information and documentation from suppliers and other third parties involved in the project. • Cooperate with the purchasing department of the company and with subcontractors. • Reporting to the Project Director. Who we are looking for: To be successful in this role we require the following requirements: • MSc in Naval Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar. • At least 5 years of working experience managing large projects within the shipbuilding or yacht industry. • At least 2 years of experience in a leading role within the technical office. • Experience managing full engineering projects is a big plus. • Good command of the English language. • Willing to relocate to the Netherlands. • Willing to travel abroad in a regular basis.
