Duties: As a member of the IT department and in the framework of the FILL2030 project, you will participate actively to the ILL’s project that aims to automate the search for relationships and links between scientific articles and its experimental data to get a better understanding of the needs of the scientific community. This project will involve working with, but not limited to, text extraction and data mining techniques, image recognition, data processing frameworks and modern web interfaces. Working with other team members on the project, you will have the following duties: • Create tools to find, extract and analyse data from documents using our own code or open source tools • Develop algorithms to find relationships and links between scientific articles and its experimental data • Set up functional and integration testing with different datasets and parameters • Develop web applications and application programming interfaces (APIs) • Write extensive technical and functional documentation. Notes: These are 24-month “specified-purpose” fixed-term contracts.
