Amazon is looking for a Health and Safety Specialist to add to the team:

• Undertake risk assessments as required and follow up control measures to completion
• Complete daily metrics and callouts from the sites
• Deep dive data in to monitoring recordable and locally reportable incidents on sites.
• Advise Associates and Managers on Company procedures and legal requirements within the level of knowledge
• Know their own level of competence and not give information outside this level
• Monitor our Sort Centre and delivery stations for compliance to Company safety procedures
• Investigate accidents, near misses and incidents to establish root cause.
• Update internal records with regards to incidents, near misses and accidents
• Undertake projects and information gathering to establish hazards and level of risk
• Be involved in undertaking action plans to ensure continuing compliance with Legislation
• Be able to maintain confidentiality in matters involving Safety investigations
• Flexibility on hours worked to cover shifts during Peak and ensure investigations are completed
• Be able to support at other locations in Spain as needed.
