The Barcelona EDITION is located on the edge of El Born District, in the heart of the city, besides the Barcelona Cathedral and right next to the Santa Caterina Market. The hotel features 100 guest rooms, a signature restaurant, state of the art club and lounge, bespoke cocktail bar, rooftop bar, outdoor pool and fitness center. Your main mission will be to manage the day to day operations in the finance department, together with the Director of Finance, and to develop and maintain strong relationships with the HOD’s that enable you to drive finance performance and reach financial goals. To be successful in this position, you will have knowledge of a complex dynamic finance department, and understand the overall hotel dynamics with its strengths and weaknesses to manage assigned tasks/projects. In this role you will report to and partner with the Director of Finance, to create and execute a comprehensive strategic plan to build and maintain financial guidelines in the hotel. You will become an expert on the EDITION Brand to ensure that you represent the brand and create brand awareness within your department´s colleagues and the hotel’s employees. Your involvement in local and company audit processes will be crucial for the success of this role.
