Descripción
The Associate Director is the face of the programs to students and faculty. He/she is responsible for the delivery and day-to-day management of the master´s degrees. The primary responsibility is to guarantee the efficient flow of the daily operations and student services, overseeing the implementation of guidelines and policies, supporting faculty members and ensuring a world class experience for students.
The AD will report to the Executive Director and will work along with faculty, students and different departments to ensure an optimal development of the programs.
Key Action Areas:
Interaction with Students:
• Meet with students in order to solve issues, offer advice, or give support with empathy and sensitivity on a daily basis.
• Manage the relationship with students proactively.
• Offer support to students facing academic difficulty.
• Identify ways to improve the student experience.
Interaction with Professors and other departments:
• Liaise with professors to communicate specific student or sections situations and to manage all issues related to the courses.
• Collaborate with the Academic Directors and the Admissions, Marketing, Planning, Documentation, Student Services, among others, in the development of the programs.
Internal Development:
• Work together with the other Directors in the coordination and implementation of new curricular and extracurricular innovations.
• Supervise and coordinate Program Assistants with professionalism and maturity.
