We require a Merchant Gases Distribution Analyst for Industrial Gases Europe to support the European Logistics and Distribution Managers in the optimisation of all activities in their distribution network whilst maintaining or growing customer loyalty by identifying, developing, implementing and measuring effective distribution productivity programs, business rules, processes and tools that involve commercial, retail and supply chain areas. Recent Graduates are welcome to apply (please see below the list of relevant degrees) As the Merchant Gases Distribution Analyst, you will: Identify inefficient and underloaded transport activities and trips and initiate supply chain and commercial actions to correct. Analyse ways to increase vehicle utilisation. Define the optimum distribution mode of supply across Liquid Bulk, Microbulk and Packaged Gases. Determine optimal liquid bulk tank sizing given customer density, tank and transport costs. Optimise the Packaged Gases interdistrict network balancing transport, production and inventory costs. Define the most efficient agent replenishment strategy balancing transport and inventory costs as well as demand levelling. Determine the delivery zones around plants. Ensure that Packaged Gases end customers are allocated to the right distribution channel. Develop and maintain scorecard KPIs. Support enhancements to scheduling tools and adoption by schedulers. Support for rollout of new offerings. Apply Lean Six Sigma and Operations Research techniques to distribution activities.
