Description
Being part of the Executive Committee, the Executive Chef is responsible of:Enhance the food products; make changes that respond to the Marketplace and to guests' needs, both present and anticipated using the market research to develop new products Manage the human resources in the department in order to attract, retain and motivate the employees. Ensure supervision and control of permanent staff and contractors are effective to ensure optimum performance Financial management of the department controlling labor and operating expenses, budget and forecastMaintaining quality of food products and ensuring consistency in food delivery and standardsActively support preparation of monthly F&B promotions and cooperate with the Marketing departmentEnsure a high level of quality and customer satisfaction
ProfileCulinary degree or diploma. Minimum 5 years of combined kitchen experience and minimum 3 years' experience in an Executive Chef Management position in one of a leading 5 star hotel chain. Experience in Michelin Star restaurants will be a plusEuropean Union Working Permit is a mustPrior Experience in high quality and volume in Conference & BanquetingFuent in English and have the ability to speak, read, write and understand Spanish. Any other additional language skills are appreciated.Positive attitude and high professional conductEffective interpersonal skills, resourcefulness and creativityAbility to work under pressure
