Responsibilities: • Development of sourcing strategies for organic raw materials such as fruits, vegetables or cereals. • Close collaboration with the Group-wide strategic sourcing teams, R&D, and QA to optimize specifications and supply base in terms of costs, availability and quality. • Management and development of farmers/suppliers for organic fruits, vegetables and cereals. • Coordination of on-site support to the organic farmers for matters of crop cultivation (rotation, soil health, etc.) • Enabling of contract farming for specified organic raw materials. • Monitoring of trends and technology in the organic agriculture markets and farming. • Development of adequate and efficient qualification processes for a supply chain of organic raw materials. • Safeguarding of standards in cultivation and quality (i.e. proactive soil sampling, specification approval process)
