The Information Security Officer for Iberia is responsible for the identification, assessment and management of security risks associated with the local business operations of Equifax, and for local maintenance of the information security management system (including training & awareness, auditing and continuous improvement). The scope of the role includes Equifax sites and operations within Spain and Portugal. The position is also responsible for the Iberia implementation, and local optimization, of the Equifax global security programme. The position will provide local insight and guidance to the global teams who are responsible for providing security engineering, security operations, security compliance, investigations, physical security, and security awareness. This position is the primary local security contact in Iberia. RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the maintenance of key security programs in Iberia including: Security assessments of new products or business initiatives Oversight and delivery of supply chain, customer and internal security audits Security awareness and training Reviews of customer compliance with security requirements Contract reviews Customer security checks, on-boarding and audits Physical security Incident response, and supporting any HR or external follow-up to incidents Security technology deployments Utilizing global team expertise and resource to investigate potential fraud Support the local business to deliver key initiatives that could otherwise be affected by security or information risk issues Meet with key clients in support of security compliance and sales activities Demonstrate and increase business value related to security programmes Work collaboratively with key stakeholders (e.g. IT) to ensure full visibility of cyber security risks and their potential impact
