At K-LAGAN we are looking for a structural simulation Engineer for the exterior trim parts to be part of a the largest manufacturer of chrome plated plastic parts for the automotive industry located in Valencia. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and knowledge sought below but, of equal importance, he or she will be self motivated, possess a positive attitude, and be a creative thinker. This is a "hands-on" position that will work across the organization in a competitive atmosphere. Working effectively with cross-functional teams is crucial for success. · Develop new CAE methods to address any new field issues related to pars structure · Improve the existing CAE methods with modeling of new advanced materials and joining technologies. · Automate existing CAE processes to reduce the turnaround time and user to user variability · Understand requirements and expectations for new product design and improved designs. · Translate actual condition to Finite Element Analysis (FEA) model. · Perform modeling of mechanisms for kinematics, dynamics and force analysis. · Interpret analysis results and convert them to design suggestions. · Provide outsourced FEA support as required when local resources cannot meet demand and be sure that are executed according client Guidelines · Supports the testing phase and conducts correlation inspections. · Create reports that summarize the analysis results including potential solutions · Accelerate product development processes. · Provide guidance and support to PD team to meet customer and internal requirements. · Participate in customer reviews as needed
