Inside Sales Managers are expected to:
- Build and develop a high-performing sales team including recruiting and hiring, performance management, account management, solution selling, modern sales tools, revenue maximization and career development.
- Maximize revenue by critically assessing deal viability, participating directly in complex sales negotiations and solving conflict to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay knowledgeable about industry trends, the marketplace, competitor positioning, customer business challenges and competitively positioning products and solutions.
- Collaborate with leadership on business strategy and develop, align and execute team's strategy accordingly to meet account and territory sales goals.
- Actively manage team's actions to maximize opportunities with regard to quantity, quality, financial value and customer buying horizon.
- Accurately compile and communicate sales forecasts and progress against forecasts through disciplined, rigorous approach to evaluating and tracking sales opportunities.
- Be comfortable with and build strong relationships and credibility with client decision-makers whether in IT or the C-Suite.
