International hotel chain selects a vacancy of JD Blue Guide Manager in Gran Canaria with possibility of change of residence to our hotel destinations nationally and internationally.
Blue Guide Manager serves as the host and therefore plays an important role in hotels. He/she is the first contact and facilitator for guest and meets the guests at eye level. A service-oriented mind-set with exemplary problema-solving skills as well as strong local knowledge characterise the Blue Guide Manager.
DUTIES:
• Service-oriented, interactive guest communication and support at eye level.
• Identification, implementation and follow-up of guests’ wishes.
• Creation, organisation and execution of guest communities (e.g. group hotel tours) and special holiday experiences for the guest.
• Complaint management (registering, resolving, follow-up) to ensure high customer satisfaction
• Responsibility for maintaining updated guest information (particularly digital content) on hotel activities and
offerings and cross-marketing function for other TUI BLUE hotels.
• Advice on excursions and passing on excursion tips; accompanying exclusive TUI BLUE excursions.
• Organising and preparing Info Travel events and supporting Info Group leaders.
• Regular walking around hotel to check and ensure that TUI BLUE brand elements and information are in place in the hotel.
• Representation function with respect to TUI BLUE marketing characteristics and presentation/communication of BLUE Guide function
• Multiplier for the TUI BLUE concept
• Intensive cooperation with the hotel management and all department heads.
• Interface function in the hotel: contact for BLUE Guides on the BLUE Guide concept and on proactive guest relation management
• Organising regular exchange of information and internal hotel department presentation for the BLUE Guides of the other departments to ensure they have full knowledge of the hotel offering
• Coordinating all BLUE Guide activities
• Intensive cooperation with the BLUE Guides and assistance in the identification and implementation of guest events
• Professional leadership responsibility for the BLUE Guides with respect to the BLUE Guide philosophy (Hospitality)
• Administration and updating guest data and profiles
• Reporting and quality reporting to head office
