Job description: As a (Lead) Electrical Engineer, you will develop basic and detailed electrical design for offshore vessels, dredgers and special equipment for the offshore industry. You will work in the discipline Electrical Power or Electrical Installations, always cooperating with your colleagues and discipline Leader. This position is located in the area of Dordrecht. Specific duties in this role include: Depending on the discipline that you will work for, you will perform the following tasks: - Power Engineering: Power balance, Electrical schematics switchboards, Outline drawings switchboards, Lay-out, locations components inside switchboards, Thermal calculation for switchboards, Cable calculations (type and dimension), Short circuit and selectivity calculations. - Installation Engineering: Package engineering, retrieve information from mechanical equipment. Check their electrical requirements/instrumentation and make block diagrams, Make General Arrangement plans for light, fire detection, emergency stops, CCTV…, Equipment list, Cable connection diagrams, Block diagrams, Cable selection. Who we are looking for: We are looking for electrical engineers who have a BSc or a MSc degree and at least 2 years of experience in a similar job position. For the Lead Engineer positions, we are looking for people who have experience or can lead a group of 3 to 8 engineers. Furthermore, the following requirements should be met in order to be successful in these job positions: - Power Engineering: Having experience in the design of switchboards and other electrical components for switchboards & being able to work with E-Plan P8. - Installation Engineering: Having experience in the shipbuilding industry, being familiar with classification society rules and being able to work with E-Plan P8. What we offer: This is not a projected-based position, so the company will invest in you and in your personal & professional development. You will receive special training during the first period of your employment, if needed. Depending on your experience, your base salary can be between 2.700 and 4.500 € gross per month.
