An important multinational company of the automotive sector is hiring a Manufacturing Simulation Engineer for their plant in Biscay. Given an initial process concept, this role will be accountable for developing a manufacturing simulation model in order to evaluate the line technical availability Up-time, buffers and conveyors size, safety circuits, stations decoupling strategy, batch sizes, line sensibility to volume flotation and other what-if investigations. The Manufacturing Simulation Engineer will work closely integrated with other plants of the company that will produce metal components in order to understand its culture, resources availability, maintenance procedures in order to allow to build a simulation model suitable to this very specific environment. This role will also develop technical specifications to support manufacturing simulations in the line builders suppliers and other duties include support logistic concept definition by means of suitable material flow planning simulation, support industrialization phase in order to obtain insights and feedback to the original built model and support programme meetings and reviews whenever necessary.
