Purpose of the job:
• Manage pricing offers to Market, ensuring timely and accurate responses to the team.
• Manage profitability growth and compliance according to Business Plan.
• Support the Iberian Country year over year Business Development and Profitability goals.
Main accountabilities and associated activities:
Pricing
• Convert sales strategies into pricing solutions.
• Gather appropriate information for pricing strategy (Data crunching) and analysis from other UPS functions (Business Development, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Customer Solutions).
• Competitive Analysis
• Analyze profitability of retention, penetration, and conversion customers.
• Evaluate appropriate customers rate structures.
• Explain, defend and review proposed offers to senior management.
• Communicate and explain pricing decisions to Business Development, assist BD selling the rates in relation to the sales strategy and UPS service value.
• Making sure that approved pricing strategies get implemented.
Customer Profitability Management
• Manage high impact / more complex Middle Market Accounts for the Iberian Market.
• Address customer profitability pain points and devise annual strategies in cooperation with Business Development and the local Business Plan Team.
• Translate revenue and profit growth goals for the entire portfolio into customer specific actions in cooperation with Business Development.
