Reporting to the Station Manager and the Ground Operations Safety Manager Spain, we are looking to appoint a Safety Representative (RSO) to act as a local safety representative in our Palma de Mallorca base. This role is a seasonal position, 40 hours per week.

You are responsible for the Safety (Safety HSE & Security) of each location and its continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for the delivery of Just Culture policies always acting as a a link between Safety and the Operation. You will take Local ownership of Safety, HSE and Security through learning and development. You will support local trainers and provide any updates on local safety procedures, PVSO, LVP, Emergency Response Procedures, etc.

In addition, you will provide support to the Station Manager and Ground Operations Safety Manager Spain with the resolution of the investigations of each incident/accident and the reactive and proactive corresponding actions.

The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the management of safety and significant experience in Airline Operations. Safety Management Systems training and experience will be desirable as well as a recognised training or trainer accreditation (Facilitation).

You will be passionate about safety and with good analytical and communication skills, you must be fluent in Spanish and English.
