Do you have experience in the managing electrical works within shipbuilding or yacht building related projects? Would you like to manage work on Yachts and Mega Yacht projects? Job description: As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the installation of electrical systems and equipment on board of yachts and mega yachts. Among others, you will be responsible for the daily management of the activities in the site where you will work. You will prepare tenders, take care of budget for projects and establish project plans (related to staffing and resources). You will report to the International Business Manager. This position is based in Barcelona or in Palma de Mallorca. Specific duties in this role include: - Manage the daily activities on Site. - Coordinate (several) repair and conversion projects. - Prepare and study information for tenders. - Having contact with clients and giving them advise. - Establishing project definitions (technical, functional and budget related). - Preparing projects and doing project planning. - Monitor the quality of the work done at site and guide team-leaders electrical. - Doing administration activities. Who we are looking for: We are looking for someone who has experience in managing repair or new-building projects related to electrical installation on board of ships or yachts. The person should have experience managing budget, quality and time issues and a strong knowledge in the electrical discipline. Additionally, the following requirements should be met: - Having a BSc in Electrical Engineering or similar. - Having 5 years of relevant working experience. - Speaking English and Spanish fluently. - Willing to travel for short periods of time worldwide. Preferred criteria: - Having experience in the shipbuilding / yacht building industry. - Living in the area of Barcelona or Mallorca. What we offer: This is not a projected-based position, so the company will invest in you and in your personal & professional development. You will special training in the Netherlands during your first weeks in the company, and we will help you with bureaucratic and practical issues related to the new job. The base salary for this position depends on your experience and capabilities, being around 35 to 40.000€ gross per year (negotiable). You will have a Spanish contract including, among others, a mobile phone and 22 holiday days per year. Even though it is a Dutch company, they operate internationally, being Barcelona and Mallorca two of their working locations.
