A Tools Management Centre (TMC) is an Atlas Copco workshop installed within a customer’s facility, where all the calibration and maintenance needs of the contracted tools are covered, both preventive and corrective maintenance. A TMC is designed, equipped and maintained by Atlas Copco, and for doing that, the TMC technicians will have the following Mission: • Maintaining the Ford’s electronic tools according the Preventive Maintenance Plan and following the TMC leader requests • Repairing the Ford’s electronic tools according the Atlas Copco standards and information procedures • Ordering the corresponding spare parts following the Atlas Copco Service procedures • Daily reporting of the activities according the Atlas Copco Service procedures • Ensure the order and cleaning of the workshop • Caring of the repairing tools and devices, ensuring its maximum performance, and keeping them in a permanent good status to be used according TMC’s needs • In case of failures or breaking, sending the corresponding repair/purchase request to the TMC leader • Attending line calls and troubleshooting as specified in the TMC agreement • Execute Torque Monitoring and Calibrations according Ford’s procedures • Delivering and picking tools up from the Ford’s Tool Crib on a daily basis • Attending the trainings planned by Atlas Copco Service and being updated about new technical information through ServAid and/or Service News • Ask for a quotation to Service Support for parts or tasks not included in the scope of work. • Follow up documents between customer and service support when needed. • Keep and control the inventory of spare parts and fixed assets
