Position Purpose
- To provide a proactive and supportive Human Resources service.
- To ensure that the HR Department is approachable, helpful and meets the needs of our ‘customers’ at all times.
- To assist Director of HR to develop and implement initiatives which embrace Marriott values and ensure that all employees are treated in a positive, fair and supportive manner throughout their employment.
Essential Functions
- To maintain an ‘open door’ policy in HR and be personally available to all employees for work / personal problems, grievances, benefit requests, queries and suggestions.
- Provide an effective recruitment service to all departments.
- Take leading role in interview process of all internship positions and active role in interviewing line staff as required.
- Establish long term relationships with Universities and Business Schools.
- To ensure all employees starting, change and termination information is accurately completed, entered into payroll software and communicated to payroll department.
- To ensure all new employees are provided with all documentation, name badges, access card and other information ensuring a smooth introduction to the Hotel.
- Updating and maintaining internal communication on property.
- Ensure compliance with all HR legislation and keep up to date with changes to spanish law.
- Assist in health and safety programs and initiatives.
