A leading International hospitality group with geographical present in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean, is looking for GENERAL MANAGER for its hotel in Spain. It is a full-service general manager position including overseeing all hotel departments with ultimate responsibility for the financial performance of the hotel as well as guest and associate satisfaction. Candidate must have proven track record of operating a successful hotel of similar style. Outstanding communication skills both in writing and verbally are key. The person will be reporting to the Regional General Manager or as notified. Please submit compensation history with resume in English Duties and responsibilities The General Manager is responsible for maximizing the return on investment to the owner of the hotel by achieving the objectives of the annual budget and strategic initiatives in guest service, employee opinion survey and profitability. The General Manager is responsible to provide the highest quality of guest service, a positive work environment for all employees, and must also maintain programs vital to the company culture. The General Manager must also ensure the hotel complies with company customer service, product and brand standards, including all policies and procedures outlined in the company’s Standard Operating Procedures Manual (SOP). The General Manager is also responsible for direct, effective, immediate communication to the Management Company of any and all issues regarding the profitability of the asset including labor management, media activity and any and all types of communication with the ownerships groups.
