The successful candidate for this role will have at least two years experience in a Head Bartender or Bar Manager role. Experience of a high volume, destination bar in Barcelona is extremely advantageous. As a representative of the F&B team it is the AC Lounge Bar Manager responsibility for delivering a lifestyle guest service experience for customers. Assisting in Managing Day-to-Day Operations • Answer guest questions or concerns regarding the origin, vintage, and style of various wines. • Update and maintain wine and cocktails list in SIMPHONY system. • Pair and suggest wines and cocktails that will best complement menu items. Attend wine tastings and develop relationships with vendors. • Request new wines and products as discovered. • Design and implement beverage promotions and incentive programs. • Train and educate server and bartender staff. • Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems. • Stays readily available/ approachable for all team members. • Helps to prepare the annual F&B budget & Monthly forecasts and is co-responsible to accomplish them • Helps to prepare monthly shifts to deliver excellent service within the budget-cost performance parameters. • Analyses and elaborates reports of cost performance and service delivering in a regular basis. • Develop menus with other members of Food & Beverage team. Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service • Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention. • Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors. • Reviews comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees.
