General Summary: - Contribute to consolidation of Tech Data Spain Financial Planning and Analysis - Analytical review and challenge to the business on forecasts and plans submitted Accountabilities: The position reports to the FP&A Manager. In order to provide satisfactory service the position holder must successfully deliver the following: - Vendor Rebate tracking. Follow up of vendor rebate programs; liaise with marketing teams to ensure rebates' accuracy; accrual assignation and P&L release. - SG&A expenses planning and control, analyzing divergences versus plan. - Analysis of travel expenses of the division. - Monthly ABC reporting on customer and vendor profitability for internal and Group use - Perform different type of tasks for Month-end, quarter end, and year end closing - Other duties as required from time to time
Knowledge and Experience: - Minimum of 1 year-experience within an Accounting Department. - University Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferable - SAP knowledge, preferable - Strong Office Knowledge (Excel is a must, Access highly valuable) - High level of Spanish is a must, oral and written. - High level of English. Skills: - Proactive and able to resolve issues under own initiative - Team player - Able to work under pressure (tough closing deadlines) - Ability to work well in multi-tasking environment - Excellent communications skills with the ability to interact openly and directly with colleagues, management and the wider business - Able to produce clear, accurate and concise analysis for senior management review - Able to work in a changing environment
