Reporting to the Operations Manager, as a Content Editor, your responsibilities include: - Editing, updating and writing/re-writing online content such as hotel, packages, destinations and activities descriptions - Editing and translating different texts, verifying the content, reviewing the language and style, ensuring the spelling is consistent and double-checking the impact on the websites - Interacting with the commercial and marketing departments and editing content for hotels, activities, and destinations accordingly to our publication/ translation and SEO strategy - Handling the loading of our catalog in our data system and making sure that the settings/ pricing are correct - Researching legal, technical, tourism-oriented and customer friendly phraseology to find the correct translation - Using the Translation Memory software (Wordbee) to ensure consistency of translation within documents , and use of specialist dictionaries to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used - Proofreading and editing final translated versions - Finding improvements that can be made in the system to optimize the work of your departments
