Job Purpose:
This role is a new concept for AXA Travel Insurance (ATI) company involving the main following focus areas:
To provide top quality travel solutions for ATIs operational teams and business travelers, travel arrangers predominantly in Europe and Africa.
To develop and implement ATIs travel and expenses policy and associated processes that focus on managing business requirements for corporate travel as well as operational travel arrangements
To optimize process that drive bottom line improvements and service level gains and ensure travel related contracts are implemented correctly and that key performance indicators are met.
To establish companywide governance and managing compliance to the AXA Group Travel Policy.
Dimensions and operating environment:
The Corporate Travel Manager will work closely with the Global Operations teams, Operational Transformation team, Quality and Training team, IT and HR. The role requires close cooperation with existing travel providers in managing their performance and compliance to the agreed KPIs and contractual requirements, as well as developing, managing and evaluation of RFI and RFPs identifying the most suitable provider for AXA Travel Insurance and other AXA companies if needed. At present there are no direct reports into this position.
Responsibilities:
Assist business units in creating and managing their travel budgets, create and implement the travel solution for AXA Travel Insurance based upon Operational requirements as well as Business Travel Policy, including: travel agency service standardization, online booking adoption (when applicable and suitable), preferred supplier coverage and travel information sessions facilitation
In collaboration with HR colleagues develop, maintain, and administer AXA Travel Insurance Travel Policy allowing for cultural and regional differences as well as business travel vs operational requirements, coordinating across functions as needed
Monitor travel policy compliance and provide strategies to increase compliance
Provide monthly and quarterly reports for business travel expenditures against budgets and forecasts and present to Finance Leaders of each operating entity
Develop, implement and manage all travel vendor relationships and programs (agency, air, hotel, car rental, executive sedan, and other relevant travel services) ensuring compliance to service level agreements
Oversight of the travel management company including all operational issues, SLAs, management reporting systems, and adherence to policy
Benchmark, analyze, monitor, and report on travel expenditures and compliance
Identify savings opportunities and service enhancements, initiate process improvements and deployment of benchmarking generated best practices
Promote key behaviors and tactics by travelers that optimize the Corporate Travel program and which reduce cost to AXA Travel Insurance businesses.
