PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Participate in driving European Credit Committee process (file preparation, follow up, etc.)
In connection with countries, manage on a permanent and rolling basis the credit exposure of Top 200 European customers and customers with own risk set above the maximum country levels (750k currently), in total approximately 500 customers:
Support countries DSO and Terms and Conditions actions on these accounts
Follow up credit policies, processes as it relates to customers in scope
Support and backup the EMEA Senior Credit Analyst in his general functions
Assess and limit exposure on key customers while supporting revenue growth: approve and, or recommend decisions according to Delegation of Authority
Prepare ECC documentation: obtain country data, challenge and validate, create and update customer's files, propose to management, prepare rolling reviews of exposure
Manage bad debt costs to minimum level through proactive and reactive actions, on covered customers
Administrative follow up of files and review credit cycles
Improve and track reporting of exposure and position of customers in scope
After test period, holds a delegation for approval up to 200k own risk.
5 year experience in credit management/operations in a multi-national high-volume environment
Good knowledge of SAP Finance software
Good knowledge of English (spoken/written)
Excellent knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles, US GAAP and IFRS, and application to financial analysis
Analytical thinking and detail orientation
Ability to build solid, effective working relationships in an international environment, to identify needs and opportunities pro-actively and develop and drive action plans, to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment and constructively under stress and pressure
