Job Purpose:
Responsible for the European Finance performance of Services Business Unit, focused on Financial Planning and Analysis.
Business Partner with the Director of the Business Unit.
Support and drive accordingly all Busines Unit initiatives (projects, vendors, customers, etc)
Improve the profitability of the Business Unit (process improvements, cost management , cash, benchmarking.)
Drive Financial Planning and Analysis of the Business Unit, in close coordination with countries across Europe and Central Financial Planning Department (HQ)
Be a supportive yet challenging business partner with the Sales and Marketing Business Unit organization.
Develop together with Business Unit owner new services (3PL, Insurances and Financial services).
Ensure Invoice processes (for the new business) are robust and monitored accordingly.
Accountabilities:
First level of Finance contact for all BU staff
Contribute to setting the proper Compliance and Controls environment in the Business Unit
Coordinate analysis of Plans and Actuals, for all metrics impacting the BUs (PL, working capital, productivity, market shares, etc)
Prepare and participate to Executive reviews, TD internal or external (vendors and customers)
Support and, or drive projects and initiatives
Key pan European vendors: Review contracts, negotiate terms, support audits, etc
Key customers : Review contracts
Liaise with central groups appropriately on all topics related to the BU (accounting, legal, tax, compliance, IT, etc)
Undertake projects benefitting all BUs (e.g. system set up), in connection with other BU finance teams and central finance teams (Corporate and Europe)
Support country BU Finance teams
Specific support of Services business development initiatives (Insurances and Financial services)
University degree in BA or similar
5 year experience in a multinational high volume environment, in Finance Manager
Experience of fast moving international markets, preferably in insurances and, or Finance services environments (supply chain knowledge and technology reverse logistics would also be beneficial)
Excellent knowledge of English, other European languages appreciated
Good knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles, US GAAP
Analytical thinking and detail orientation
Ability to build solid, effective working relationships in an international environment, to identify needs and opportunities proactively and develop and drive action plans, to work effectively in a multi tasking environment and constructively under stress and pressure
Credible with Customers and Vendors
Location : Barcelona
Travel required across European TD countries up to 20% of the time on average (may be more at times depending on project requirements)
