In Hilton Barcelona we are seeking for a Front Office Manager for a permanent position to join our team. A Front Office Manager with Hilton Hotels and Resorts is responsible for managing, coordinating and supervising the activities of the Front Desk to ensure the highest level of courteous and efficient service to all internal and external customers.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING…
• Ensure Hilton standards are always met in the department.
• Review daily arrivals, VIPs, special requests, group needs, room assignments and coordinate with Housekeeping Department the needs of guests.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with HHonors Members.
• Oversee the Front Office team, ensuring accurate communication and follow-up on any problems, guest requests and special requirements.
• Communication with other HODs on room availability and selling strategy to maximize occupancy, revenue and rate; departmental cost management; problem tracking and reporting; Guests claims & comments.
• Supervise daily shift operations and ensure compliance with all policies, standards and procedures.
• Staff management; planning team development and improving motivation.
• Registration and cashiering functions of the Front Office, in accordance with local and brand requirements.
• Have very good Hotel knowledge in order to upsale whenever possible, of the bedrooms layout as well as their features and equipment and of the neighbourhood areas in order to help guests with their needs.
• Ensure good communication and development in the department.
• Accurately complete daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
• Assist training new employees, apprentices and interns.
