Job Overview:
We are looking for an intuitive, passionate candidate, who is always seeking to exceed guests’ expectations, to join our Management Team. As our Front Office Manager, to manage all aspects of the Front Office department’s operational function and providing excellent Guest Service, individual service with precision and empathy for our guests, you will be the heart and soul of this new iconic Luxury Boutique Hotel.
You will report directly to the Deputy General Manager
Main duties and responsibilities:
• To ensure our front office team consistently delivers a seamless and personal arrival and departure experience for our guests whilst dealing with any query.
• You will supervise all activities of the front of house department according to the hotel standards and procedures.
• You will be part of our Duty Manager Team, being responsible of handling all queries in the hotel and recording all activities in the form of the Duty Manager Log book on a daily basis and you will report the necessary information to the General Manager.
• To direct all operational activities to maintain and improve productivity, increase volume, quality and service, in accordance with the Hotel’s budget and business goals and in conjunction with the revenue team, ensure maximise REVPAR and other opportunities.
• To ensure adequate resource planning and effective recruitment of Front Office team members.
• To set and review departmental objectives for the team and provide continuous employee feedback through the appraisal process.
• To check that staff meets and exceeds guest expectations by training and encouraging staff to provide customer service.
• To promote a helpful and professional image to guest and team and give full co-operation to any guest or colleague requiring assistance in a prompt and helpful manner.
• To understand the aims of the Hotel and agree departmental objectives and communicate them to the team.
