Generator Hostel Barcelona is looking for a Guest service Officer (Travel Shop Attendant). We need an exceptional and passionate go-getter to join our team in Barcelona. If you are motivated, organised, a peoples person through and through and have a genuine desire to be part of something big, then your journey should start here at the Generator. • Provide a warm friendly Generator welcome to all guests and the public; • Ensure guests are fully informed of all events in the hostel and provide insider knowledge of the city to guests; • Promote and make travel arrangements for sightseeing and other tours; • Provide information about local features such as shopping. dining, nightlife, and recreational destinations; • Dealing with all front of house inquiries including receptionist duties (e.g., check-ins/outs, customer service); • Handling individual reservations; • Resolving guests’ online inquiries; • Dealing with the guests´ issues/complaints.
