In-house Proofreader/Translator - Russian, English, Portuguese (Brazilian) or German - Multilingual Production Department (Barcelona) Datawords is a multilingual and e-multicultural communication agency, European leader in localization, translation and copywriting. With a worldwide network of more than 1,200 translators, we work across 7 production platforms based in Paris, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, Manila and New York and a new linguistic production Office in Barcelona. For its key accounts, primarily in the fields of fashion, jewelry, watchmaking and cosmetics, Datawords is looking for new members for the position of in-house Proofreader/Translator for the following languages: Russian, English, Portuguese (Brazilian) and German, for the new Datawords Office in Barcelona as part of the Russian, English, Portuguese (Brazilian) or German Project coordination and translation team based in Paris (HQ). While highly adaptable, first-rate Russian, English, Portuguese (Brazilian) or German writing/editing/translation skills are central to the position, the right candidate must display proficiency in proofreading, main task requested for this position. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of the Multilingual Production Department of the Spain Office, directly attached to the HQ Multilingual Division, the English Project Proofreader’s primary responsibilities include: • Quality control of Russian, English, Portuguese (Brazilian) or German projects in a wide variety of styles and terminology • Linguistic Project Coordination in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment in collaboration with the HQ Russian, English, Portuguese (Brazilian) or German Team in Paris • Working closely with internal production HQ teams in Paris
