As a Java Developer you will work in a team that's responsible for the technical realisation of high quality e-commerce websites. The team consists 30 Java Developers (Medior and Senior), so you will have enough colleagues to discuss difficult programming problems with. It's a SCRUM environment and will you work individual as in SCRUM teams for different projects. It's an in-house job, so travelling to clients isn not necessary. You are responsible for the difficult parts of the applications. You participate in devising the best structure for the application. The website you design (technical), build and administrate will be visited by more than a million people each day. Because it contains e-commerce websites, down time costs a lot of money. That's the reason why it's very important that high quality is very important to you. You will face the most complex programming issues and challenges. It's possible to develop yourself and become an Architect at this company. Your main tasks are: Designing (technical), programming and administrating different e-commerce websites Discuss issues with colleagues to find the best solutions. Participate in different projects, single or with other programmers Participate in SCRUM teams Come up with improvement proposals Requirements Bachelor Degree At least 3 years' experience as a Java (Enterprise) Developer Good knowledge of REST, Apache, GIT, J2EE, JSF, MVC, MySQL, OO, SOA, Soap, Spring, Tomcat and XML e-commerce experience is preferred Knowledge of RUP, Scrum/ Agile and industry standards Customizable, some commercial insight but focus on technique Passion! Strong focus on quality; Good communication skills and know how to have contact with clients; Intermediate English level (the first interview and all our meetings are in English).
