In Hilton Barcelona we are seeking for a Reservations Supervisor for a permanent position to join our team. The Reservations Supervisor oversees the Reservations Team and how it performs routine procedures in order to maximize revenue and Guest satisfaction. Works with the Reservations Team to develop future and repeat business opportunities. Immediate availability. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING… • Ensure Hilton standards are always met in the department. • Develop and maintain good relationships with HHonors Members. • Provide a professional and enthusiastic reservations service for individual enquiries. • Be fully aware of all reservations systems in order to maximise Hilton Barcelona average room rates and occupancy. • Have very good Hotel knowledge in order to upsale whenever possible, of the bedrooms layout as well as their features and equipment and of the neighbourhood areas in order to help guests with their needs. • Ensure good communication and development in the department. • Take responsibility for provisional reservations, ensuring all are sorted in good time. • Take responsibility for ensuring room-type overbookings are sorted in good time. • Accurately complete daily, weekly and monthly reporting. • Assist training new employees, apprentices and interns.
