As a member of Tech Data Europe's headquarters, the Senior Consultant European Sales Effectiveness operates effectively across the whole of Tech Data's front-office landscape for all sales related activities from strategy definition, market intelligence to team set up and sizing and CRM, helping country operations improve their business performance and maximize their profitable sales growth in order to achieve Corporate goals. He/she is responsible to drive the transformation, standardization and optimization of Tech Data's sales operations by leading the design, documentation, best practice sharing and implementation of structured methodologies, tools and processes across Europe. He/she interacts closely with senior country management teams and staff, acting as a subject matter expert, managing project/staff members to ensure that sales transformation programs and other strategic initiatives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
Leadership, guidance and coaching to country sales teams, providing strategic and analytical support in the areas of sales planning, strategy definition, account management and profitable targeted sales.
Assumes accountability for the results of the country operations for sales and directs efforts to increase the profitability of existing products and customers, facilitating the prioritization, and deployment of key sales management levers.
Collaborates with key members of local front-office organizations across TD European operations to implement (on-time / on-budget) sales improvement initiatives aligned to key corporate objectives.
Monitors and analyses customer satisfaction and financial / operational performance of front-office operations in the areas of sales and E-commerce to identify major deviations against pre-defined KPIs implementing and driving remediation actions and strategies.
Coach and develop sales management and staff across the European Organization on advanced sales methodologies, processes and tools (SAP CRM, country sales forecasting, E-business, sales incentive targeting systems, etc.).
Lead and develop the iTS (Turbo Sales) excellence program and University to ensure the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities are retained, up-to-date, and are effective in delivering organic growth and increasing customer satisfaction.
Maintains in-depth market knowledge, customer channel and product segment market share understanding to develop business management processes that support sound, strategic sales planning, customer satisfaction and profitable growth.
Key lead in the design and implementation of European-level sales enhancement strategies, methodologies and processes that help protect and enhance the company's market shares & margins.
Collaborate with TDIT and in-country business leaders to driving functional & system innovations for sales (SAP CRM, QMT, IPT Telephony etc.) supporting prioritisation and leading the business rollout.

Actively oversees the company's operating policies and practices and ensure these meet and exceed where possible, all corporate requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director, European Sales Effectiveness or VP of Vanguard.
3-5 years working experience in a relevant front-office discipline, ideally sales mgmt./sales consultancy.
Graduate degree required / MBA
Fluent in English (other languages a benefit), exceptional verbal, written and communication skills
Proven experience in program design, execution and transformation management utilizing structured methodologies and metrics, experience in sales improvements a plus.
Willingness to work in a multi-cultural and multi-skilled team
Previous experience implementing large projects and effectively partnering with country organizations
Willingness to travel and to work outside from home country up to 80% of time
Experience in relationship building and facilitation skills with business partners; influence without authority; comfortable interacting with Senior Management
Able to operate effectively and constructively in a multi-task environment under stress and pressure.
EU-Citizenship or working permit required.
