Job Purpose
To manage the day to day procurement operations activities for specific product categories and/or countries in order to provide quick and efficient service to our local entities.
Accountabilities:
Provide leadership to the team in order to maximise individual and team performance
Manage and maintain positive and productive stakeholder relationships across all relevant local entities.
Ensure timely and efficient response from the team to countries requests, ensuring SLA agreed with countries is fulfilled
Proactively review stock quality (quantity / availability / age) and liaise with countries to work on highlighted issues
Provision of regular management information to internal stakeholders as required, with responsibility for data integrity
Ensure all team members are conversant and compliant to relevant tools and processes
Ad Hoc responsibilities in line with business requirements
Previous experience of managing a team and/or strong desire to work in a team management position
Experience on very dynamic and operational environment
Inventory management skills with ability to utilise processes and tools to maximum effect
Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels
SAP experience desirable
Microsoft Office skills are essential
Ability to express complicated and involved information in a concise and articulate manner
Proven presentation skills
Leadership, team building and coaching abilities
German language is a plus.
