Currently in our office in Bilbao we are looking for an Accountant M/F reporting to the Chief Accountant. The Accountant is responsible mainly for recording AR Invoices, calculating and posting journals and support Chief Accountant with daily duties to ensure financial reporting timeliness and correctness both for statutory and US GAAP. You will be responsible for working together with central team and Chief Accountant to ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping. - Liaise with the central team and the Chief Accountant in order to ensure timely and accurate period close financial results - Post AR documents - both invoices and credit notes - Calculate and post journal vouchers - Prepare data for financial statements - Prepare data for statistical and other local jurisdiction requirements - Support change initiatives and work towards simplified processes
