Metta searchs for a very important industrial company a Production Engineer: His / Her functions will be: - Manages the Production workforce, shift patterns, daily issues and the associated paperwork related to them. - Coordinates between the different Departments in order to ensure that the Productions lines are working fine and the accomplishment of the Production Plan (Maintenance, Quality, Lab, HSE, Sourcing, Logistics, HHRR, IT, etc…) - Coordinates with the Production Supervisor to deploy the Company policies, action plans, improvements, procedures, etc… - Coordinates with the Production shift leaders to solve the existing problems, weaknesses and daily issues related to the Production Department. - Coordinates the training matrix for new operators, refreshment training sessions for the existing workforce and management of an evaluation program of the effectiveness of that training sessions as well as the performance of the operators. In addition it should be necessary to identify the weaknesses of the workforce in order to implement later an action plan to solve them. - Ensures that all the Quality rules and requirements are followed along the production process, making suggestions and action plans to solve the weaknesses. - Applies Continuous Improvement techniques to optimize processes, procedures and tasks done along the Production process. - Leads and participates in the implementation of new projects and improvements within the Production Department. - Complies with the HSE rules and procedures. Ensures that the new procedures are deployed complying with the HSE Company policy and the current applicable legislation - Complies with the Environmental rules and procedures.
