You will become a member of the ILL’s Services for Advanced Neutron Environment (SANE) responsible for the Institute’s sample environment equipment and its cryogenic systems in particular. You will mostly be working in the laboratory and experimental areas on the following tasks: • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and configure equipment in consultation with your colleagues & manager • Assist colleagues and scientists to ensure the smooth operation of the experiments • Take part in the development of new equipment • Produce and update technical documentation • Provide occasional assistance with internal training.
