Duties: As a member of the ‘Services for Advanced Neutron Environment’ (SANE) team, you will join the staff in charge of sample environment equipment and, in particular, cryogenic systems. Working mostly in the laboratory and the experimental areas, you will be responsible for: • the maintenance and repair of the equipment, • the preparation of experiments in the laboratory, • the design and production of any urgently needed mechanical parts, • the development and testing of new equipment, • the production of technical documentation (user manuals, etc.) and the conducting of occasional internal training sessions. You may also be called upon to work with the instrument teams to ensure the smooth running of the experimental programme. Notes: Permanent contract. Occasional periods of on-call duty.
