Responsible for the material movements and transfers along the Legal Entity, such as imports, material reception from other sites, but as well exports and any shipment in general for sales and service. Responsible for Inventory / StockTake coordination following correct procedures and ensuring proper stock accountability, showing systems stocks and real stocks as the same picture. Manages the correct distribution of materials in the warehouses (including field engineers) and coordinates the logistics Team in charge of those physical movements.
Job Purpose:
• Responsible for proper application of Procedures in Shipments / Receptions, ensuring quality of the job delivered and ensuring On Time execution in the Centre of Reference. In charge of the Logistic Activities of the International Spares Centre in Spain, including European Repair Centre Modules.
• Optimization of Stock and Distribution Network Management, both for Spares and Machines or Finished Goods activity.
• Transport Management into an efficient environment and maximizing savings, ensuring proper execution of SLAs and checking proactively timely production of Transportation KPI. Logistics Coordinator is responsible until the last mile shipments.
• Lead the Global Spares/Finished Goods inventory reduction process and transfer materials to the optimized consumption points.
• Follow up of Special Projects under Logistics activity, ensuring the production of Reports and KPIs to measure properly the activity.
• Evolving and maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures for logistic processes and systems.
• Interact & assess storage facility requirements and optimise warehouse & logistics processes to drive reduced costs over time, continuous link with the Warehousing & Transportation Senior Manager to fulfil these requirements.
• Proactively facilitating, re-engineering, best practices & consensus between functional experts (Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, Purchasing, Sales & Marketing, Operations, Finance, and IT)
• Work closely with the procurement team to introduce Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) processes to the Hub as part of the overall improvement process and create linkages and synergies with the Repair Centre activity to maximize the utilisation of repair inventory within the overall Spares management process.
• Motivates the Team under his/her accountability and provides correct transmission of GLORY Values.
• Being an active contributor to company Supply Chain projects within Global Service Operations.
