We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager or Senior Quality professional to develop and maintain our Spain Repair Centre Quality Management System. It is essential that the highest standards of quality are achieved for all aspects of the Repair Centre business and this key role is required to drive this achievement.
It is required that the company’s core quality objectives are achieved and customer satisfaction is maintained at all times. This will require the effective identification, definition, implementation and management of quality tools, techniques and initiatives combined with the technical competence to assist in the resolution of any product related issues.
Key responsibilities, duties and challenges
• Implementation, maintenance and development of ISO compliant QMS
• Promoting quality achievement and performance throughout the Repair Centre
• Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, performed and evaluated, and they achieve required results
• Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving them to plan, formulate and agree comprehensive quality procedures
• Ensure the integrity and consistency of site repairs are maintained at all times
• Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
• Identifying relevant quality related training needs and delivering training as required
• In conjunction with central compliance, ensuring all products meet national and international compliance standards and requirements
• Warranty process ownership including all related issue resolution
• Working with the Group Quality Director to drive quality initiatives and improvements
• Maintaining awareness of business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues
• Application of environmental and health and safety requirements
• Investigate root causes of product related failures ensuring effective containment and permanent corrective actions
• Conduct process audits to identify non-conformance and recommendations for improvement where necessary to assure quality of products/repairs.
• Quality monitoring and reporting (Local and group)
• Co-ordinate and monitor quality control activities to ensure that products comply with defined specifications and standards.
• Ensure that customer and quality, regulatory and business management system requirements are fulfilled
• Identify opportunities for improvements, communicate those opportunities to senior management and assist in their development
• Maintain a thorough awareness of changes in the technology sector and our products
• Ensure that customer complaints are addressed in a controlled and expedient manner, to the satisfaction of the customer, with all remedial actions implemented to prevent further occurrences
• Uphold Department & Company rules & policies, including company procedures and H&S practices
• Travel to customer and supplier sites as required
