Descripción
The International MBA (IMBA) is the institution’s flagship program, ranked 4th in Europe by the Financial Times and 8th worldwide. It is a full-time, one-year program, which can be pursued in either English or Spanish. The program’s key objective is to cultivate leaders and entrepreneurs capable of leading business organizations in competitive and dynamic global environments. It enrolls approximately 700 students per year, in two intakes (September and January), from up to 75 nationalities per intake.
The Associate Director reports to the Executive Director and the Associate Dean of the International MBA Program and will help to supervise a team of six Program Advisors as well as six Program Assistants. In close collaboration with the other Associate Directors, the candidate will help with the daily management of the fulltime program, its continuous improvement and the management of corresponding administrative tasks.
Key Action Areas:
Management of two critical components of the program; the Business Impact Lab and the Impact Project. Both projects provide our students with experiential learning opportunities that enable them to make impact from day one in the organization they join post-MBA.
• Business Impact Lab – One of five options during the Lab Period, which focuses on developing integrative skills and cross-disciplinary management perspectives all while sparking an “intrapreneurial” mindset. During the course of the five weeks, students put into practice what they learn on a challenge that is presented by a corporate client.
• Impact Project – A final, integrative exercise where groups work with a company, NGO, government body, etc. on a project that puts their MBA toolkit to work towards making meaningful impact.
