We are looking for an experienced (at least 3 years) computer science software engineer or equivalent for projects related with the European Space Agency. The candidate shall comply the following requirements. The same post can be performed in the company offices of Germany, Netherlands or Belgium Technical Requirements Proficient in Java Programming. Practical knowledge of Unit Testing (i.e. JUnit). Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL…). Knowledge in data modeling (E/R, UML, ORM…). Practical experience in using and developing distributed architectures (e.g. CORBA, SOA, Apache, OSGI, Maven…). Understanding of System Architectural Design. Knowledge of design patterns. Able to work in Windows (mainly) and in Linux. Experience using Eclipse IDE Able to write formal documentation Technical Assets Knowledge of other programming languages (C, C++, C#, Python, Shell Script). Practical experience developing GUIs (e.g. libraries, tools, layouts) Knowledge of EMF technologies and Java8 Non-technical requirements Fluent English (working language) Proactive person, team-worker and capable to work independently if needed. Open-minded to suggestions, comments, etc. Able to travel for meetings, conferences, etc.
