A critical role to drive a new approach and thought leadership to Equifax's growth vertical of Utility and Telco Industry. The ideal candidate will need a deep knowledge of the corporate objectives and market approach for these sector customers.
Having worked within a Business, Marketing or Sales Leadership role within Utility and Telco Industry, the ideal candidate will be able to shape Equifax's strategy together with current and future data and technology solutions to address the key business goals of the target markets.
The ideal candidate will understand the market dynamics and key drivers for Telecommunication and Utility companies and the challenges around managing customer's behaviors in relation to handset and ARPU (Average Revenue per User) and the future of convergence.
The role includes developing key market approach including business case development, ownership and delivery for Equifax market developments.
Responsible for maintaining and growing existing customer revenue to up-sell and develop innovative client solutions.
The remit will include leading the major client engagements, negotiating the larger customer contracts, developing the go-to-market sales model and owning the sales budget.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Equifax's market strategy and approach through thought leadership for the Utility and Telco Industry sector.
Own Equifax cross-functional departments approach (Analytics and IT) for Utility and Telco Industry.
Work closely with the Marketing function (Data Strategy and Solutions Development) to deliver new solutions to the Utility and Telco Industry market.
Work with Marketing to deliver effective market and client interaction communication programmes.
Manage and coordinate all client activities to create seamless customer centricity and interaction.
Manage the development and implementation of specified account strategy plans to win significant revenues from new and existing accounts.
Defining a sales strategy to significantly increase sales across all areas, and data types.
Create significant c' level client relationship within the Utility Industry client base.
INDUSTRY/CLIENT INDUSTRY:
Understands clients' success factors and business challenges, and how to map these into a Return on Investment (ROI) business case.
Has knowledge of the specific verticals, including understanding clients' competitive landscapes.
Knowledge of Utility and Telco Industry operational functions including Finance, IT, Operations and Risk.
Strong knowledge of customer and credit risk lifecycle pertinent to specified markets.
Understand how credit risk strategies based on data analytics are created and used.
Understands the challenges risk and fraud departments face when implementing new solutions.
Understands latest compliance / regulatory requirements.
Deep understanding of procurement practices and client buying behavior.
Understanding of client decision making units and political interactions between departments.
DATA KNOWLEDGE:
Has good knowledge of Equifax data as it relates to Risk and ID fraud.
Has good knowledge of client data, operational management processes.
Demonstrates knowledge of other data sources that are available for credit risk and fraud prevention and detection.
Knowledge of the use of enabling technology for clients.
