GARMENDIA, an expanding international company global leader in License Management and Compliance Services, is seeking a driven individual who can manage complex audit technical analysis for worldwide License Compliance Program. POSITION SUMMARY Candidate will be joining Garmendia’s Global IT Services Unit as License Review Technical Consultant in Madrid, responsible for providing technical support to the License Management and Compliance Program for Oracle applications. RESPONSIBILITIES • Execute the License Management and Compliance technical measurement process for Oracle Applications products. • Provide remote and on-site technical support to worldwide Oracle customers throughout the process of installing and running technical measurement tools in order to determine software deployment and usage. • Validate proper data collection, installation and configuration of the measurement tools. • Ensure the timely completion of technical measurement process steps. • Act as the expert in Oracle technical measurement tools to both internal and external parties.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • A degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications • Strong communication skills both written and verbal. • Experience in customer support. • Experience using Oracle SQL and Microsoft SQL. • Experience using Unix/Linux, Mainframe and windows operating systems. • Experience using Software Asset Management tools and Software inventory tools is an advantage (SCCM, Altiris, Landesk, Lansweeper…) • Good understanding of computer networks and architectures. • Problem solving & decision making. • Flexibility, responsiveness & change management oriented. • Able to work both independently and in a team environment. • Fluency in English is essential; fluency in another language is an advantage.
