Joining our fast growing, highly motivated international team as a Resident Engineer, you will work close with our Account Managers and Technical Managers in the process of designing and deploying technical solution by capturing customer requirements and forming these into actual solutions. You will be designing these solutions using Procera's products in networks and datacenters owned by the largest service providers across the globe. The role will include: • Provide Account Managers with technical expertise including answering RFPs, having technical presentations, demonstrations and workshops. • Capture customer requirements and designing solutions that fulfill these. • Scooping implementation projects and providing accurate and detailed handover and support to the Professional Services organization for project implementation and delivery. • Building strong and trustworthy relationships with technical departments of our customers. • Providing both remote and on-site pre- and post-sales technical assistance when required. • Technical development to ensure customer confidence, trust and loyalty. This includes participation in training events and conferences to further strengthen the abilities to deliver services to our deployment base.
Required qualifications: • Have strong enthusiasm about working with traffic management solutions. • At least 5 years of experience in relevant software or Internet service industry with a background designing and supporting high availability 24x7x365 service provider environments. • Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals. • Deep technical knowledge around network operations and management including performing well planned and controlled changes in high availability networks. • Provide strong confidence during technical sessions with customers. • Strong data and analytical skills, including ability to identify key issues and engage resources to resolve. • Fluency in English and Spanish.
