Summary of Role As part of DAS & SCADA Department and reporting to SCADA Integration Manager, the summary of the main functions included are: SCADA Integration Sr. Engineer will be the technical lead in charge of the definition of the SunEdison SCADA specification and standards, and will act as technical authority in the implementation of those standards in each of the actual projects that DAS & SCADA Group should be in charge of. SCADA Integration Sr. Engineer's authority will cover design, build, set up and tst of all SCADA systems, for any type of power plant, worldwide. Key Duties & Responsibilities This individual will be responsible for the following tasks: - Coordinate internal and external resources for Technical Due Diligence of the SCADA systems present in power plants acquired by Terraform Power (TERP) and Terraform Global (GLBL). Identification of gaps vs. SunEd standards. - Proposal of modifications required in taken over plants in order to reach SunEd standards and evaluation of economic impact. - Creation and evolution of SunEdison SCADA Standard, defining equipment to be included in BoM - Aiming to produce required information for centralized monitoring and reporting, coordinate and provide guidance in the detailed design of full DAS and SCADA systems, modification of existing ones or generation of API's as might be applicable depending plant status and required information. - Plan, coordinate and participate in field deployment of solutions engineered, using internal resources or contractors, SunEdison O&M field technicians or engineers in others regions - Ensure high quality in product delivered, designing tests to perform and KPIs to follow. Being accountable for data quality, SCADA Local System Manager will also ensure completeness of project info in asset management system. - Own SCADA Group activities in Documentation System, making sure that process is appropriately followed. - Feedback from operative experience by creating requirements for evolution of DAS and SCADA standard systems and tools developed by Technology team. - Managing and coordinating a team of engineers
