The post is for 22 contact teaching hours, taught between Monday and Saturday. Most of the groups are taught in our centre with some off-site groups in the area.
On 29th and 30th August there are two Induction Days prior to the start of the academic year. During these days there are sessions to familiarize new staff with the school, its systems, the syllabuses and course materials as well as giving time for lesson planning and getting to know colleagues.
Teaching timetables are usually quite compact with most classes on-site taking place between 16.30h and 21.00h Monday to Thursday. Off-site teaching takes place over the lunchtime period or mornings. Most students attend twice a week on either Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs taking two x 90 min. classes.

Teaching 22 contact teaching hours
Lesson planning and timetabling
Materials preparation as part of lesson planning
Attending meetings with parents and office meetings/trainings.
Setting, collecting and marking of homework and collating results

As well as regular observations, peer observations and our in-service training program for all staff, we also encourage staff to take part in seminars, attend local workshops and conferences.
Cover for absence and to enable teachers to see their peers in the classroom is provided by a system of timetabled standby. Teaching a standby class is paid extra if taught unless the teacher has fewer than the contracted hours in his timetable.
A work visa is not required for EU citizens/passport.
