The crash simulation engineer will be involved with projects of development of body-in-white components for the automotive sector. The mechanical simulation engineer will work in the technological center located in the Barcelona metropolitan area (40 km far from Barcelona), will be involved with mechanical simulations and he will join a team with 30 members. He will play a role as a mechanical simulation engineer: geometries preparation for the meshing; numerical model (meshing, materials, load and boundaries conditions); crash simulations; and results analysis. Working following instructions of an area leader. The crash simulation engineer needs strong skills in: Ansa or Hypermesh (for the meshing and numerical model preparation), Radioss or LS-Dyna (for the crash simulations), and knowledge in body-in-white automotive components. Global and multicultural customers and suppliers. So, an independent level of English language knowledge is necessary. Travel is not necessary for this position, but travel availability is required.
