The lathe machining processes manager (senior professional) will be involved with the manufacturing process of parts for automotive mechatronic devices. The lathe machining processes manager (senior professional) will work in the lathe machining workshop of the company site located in the Barcelona metropolitan area. The main responsabilities will be: -definition of the lathe machining processes (technical definition in order to assure parts quality, quantity, delivery time and costs) -management of the lathe machining workshop workers. Different work shifts. -tracking of economical costs and quality indexs of the lathe machining processes. -ensure the right compliance of the EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) regulation. -continuous improvement of the lathe machining processes (right tools, materials, procedures, training,...in order to reduce the economical cost and to ensure the quality). -collaboration with the commercial department to prepare quotations for new mechatronic devices. The late machining processes manager will work under the Production Manager. Production Manager leads all the manufacturing areas: plastic injection, assembly,... The lathe machining processes manager (senior professional) needs strong skills in: lathe machining works, lathe machining processes definition, lathe machining economical costs definition, work team leadership and EHS regulation. Ability to manage the function with a customer oriented attitude. Internal customers (Quality Department, Engineering Department, Commercial Department) and suppliers. International external customers, so an independent user level of English language knowledge is necessary. Travel is not necessary for this position, but travel availability is required.
